Highlands offers an active lifestyle for adults 55 and over. Among our recreational and social activities are card games, fitness classes and movie nights. Special events and potlucks offer residents a chance to get together on holidays and other special occasions. The Clubhouse is also available for residents' private gatherings.
An elected Board of Directors — composed of owners — governs the community.
Highlands goes to the Movies! Or, more accurately, a movie comes to the Highlands! Please join us at the Clubhouse at 7pm on Friday, September 27th to see "Guarding Tess".
A new Architectural & Landscape (A&L) Manual has been approved. The HOA Board approved the 2019 edition of the A&L Manual at the 22 August Board meeting. Copies will be sent to all of the members of the HOA, and a PDF version will be posted to the ALC's web page soon.
Kevin McCaleb's Irrigation Assessment and Recommendations report is here! The long-awaited "water audit" report from Water Conservation Specialist Kevin McCaleb is available for download. There is also a two-page summary of his recommendations, attached to the front. You can download that report from the ALC's web page.
A new selection of street trees is available! Highlands homeowners have had a pretty short list of street trees options over the past few years… Good news: that list has now expanded to six! The full details will soon be posted to the ALC's web page.
The KC Highlands Finance Committee normally has their monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month — except for THIS month!
Please make plants to join us on Tuesday evening, August 20th at 7pm, in the Board Room of the Clubhouse. Visitors are always welcome.
The KC Highlands HOA will have our Town Hall Meeting at 6pm, followed by the Board of Directors meeting on Thursday (22 August), in the Board Room of the Clubhouse. As always, Highlands residents are encourage to attend!
