Highlands offers an active lifestyle for adults 55 and over. Among our recreational and social activities are card games, fitness classes and movie nights. Special events and potlucks offer residents a chance to get together on holidays and other special occasions. The Clubhouse is also available for residents' private gatherings.
An elected Board of Directors — composed of owners — governs the community.
Don't forget to put out your bag(s) of newspapers by the mailbox for pick-up by the Lions Club tomorrow (Tuesday)!
Kevin McCaleb's Irrigation Assessment and Recommendations report is here! The long-awaited "water audit" report from Water Conservation Specialist Kevin McCaleb is available for download. There is also a two-page summary of his recommendations, attached to the front. You can download that report from the ALC's web page.
A new selection of street trees is available! Highlands homeowners have had a pretty short list of street trees options over the past few years… Good news: that list has now expanded to six!
The full details are posted at the ALC's web page, and the new Street Trees binder can be found in the Clubhouse, near the ALC's information rack in the hallway.
The brand-new, September 2019 of the Architectural & Landscape Manual is available, and ready for download. Go to the ALC's web page, scroll down a bit, and click on the light blue button to pull down a copy of the PDF. Hardcopy versions are available at the Highlands' office, too.
