Highlands offers an active lifestyle for adults 55 and over. Among our recreational and social activities are card games, fitness classes and movie nights. Special events and potlucks offer residents a chance to get together on holidays and other special occasions. The Clubhouse is also available for residents' private gatherings.
An elected Board of Directors — composed of owners — govern the community.
Living Well Speaker Series Highlands resident Mike Albright will present a talk entitled "A Senior's Guide to the Internet" on Sunday, Feb 24th from 2-3:30pm at the Clubhouse. The presentation will be repeated on Tuesday, Feb 26th at 4 pm. Mike will explain what exactly the Internet is and, in simple terms, how it works. Bring family & friends, and plan to attend one of these presentations.
Community Participation Organization (CPO) 4K meeting at the Highlands Clubhouse at 7pm. Come hear about updates on King City's Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) expansion, and also from Tualatin Riverkeepers and their efforts towards protecting our local environment.
Highlanders will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day this year with a Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner! On Friday, March 16th at 7pm, and again on Saturday, March 17th from 11am to noon, the Clubhouse will be filled with the aromas of savory corned beef, Irish soda bread, baked cinnamon apples, and all the fixings. Tickets are required for this event ($19 each).
