The King City Highlands

A 55+ Adult Community

Located in the rolling hills of western Washington County, Oregon, Highlands is a senior community of 319 single-family houses and condominiums in a wooded setting. Walking paths and greenways wind through the community, with an elegant Clubhouse serving as the focus of gatherings and activities.

Highlands offers an active lifestyle for adults 55 and over. Among our recreational and social activities are card games, fitness classes and movie nights. Special events and potlucks offer residents a chance to get together on holidays and other special occasions. The Clubhouse is also available for residents' private gatherings.

An elected Board of Directors — composed of owners — governs the community.
A few areas of concrete grinding should be done in Spring 2020. Some of our street trees have gotten themselves into trouble, and have lifted some sidewalk panels. The larger shifts (>3/4") will be ground down for safety, and some other spots will be painted for better visibility.
Just a friendly reminder: House-owners who are planning almost any sort of exterior project (e.g., painting, a new roof, changes to your landscape (especially to your trees!), a new fence, and so on ) should check with the ALC to see if you need to submit an Architecture or Landscape Application. You can also check with the Architectural & Landscape Manual to see the current guidelines.

The audio recording of the KC Highlands HOA Board Meeting held on 25 March 2020 is now available on the About Us | Boards of Directors page. Scroll all the way to the bottom!

Stay home, stay safe, and stay well, Highlanders.
